Stuart F. Sligh, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc.
Mission Statement
The Stuart F. Sligh, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc. is established in memory of Stuart F. Sligh, Jr. (Stu) who tragically died on February 18, 2012 at age 16 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Stu’s life exemplified character, athleticism, academics, and faith. Stu’s leadership qualities were reflected by his peers in the Fall of 2011 when he was selected Co-Captain of the Savannah Country Day football team as a sophomore. Stu remained on honor roll every semester of his high school days. Although Stu has physically left this mortal world, through this Foundation he will continue to share his love for life and live to help others.
